* The Seniors played some good football against Shamrocks in Pairc Esler last Friday night but yet again they were defeated. Trailing 0-08 to 0-02 at the break, the Duns got back in to the game in the 2nd half thanks to a Martin Melville goal. However, the Newry men emerged worthy victors on a 1-18 to 1-09 scoreline.
Best for Dundrum were Eamon King in goals, Neil McComiskey, Declan Kavanagh and Jonathan McMullan in defence, Kieran Walsh in midfield and Martin Melville and Chris Hogg in attack.

* The Reserves were defeated by five points at St Johns on Sunday night. Tonight (Wednesday) they travel to Saul for a 6.45pm throw-in. All players to meet for 5.45pm.
* There was heartache for the U-16's on Saturday at Ardglass when they failed to retain the East Down U-16 B Football Championship. St Johns defeated the amalgamated side by a point and now advance to the County Final. Final scoreline: St Johns 2-08 St Josephs 4-01.
Hopefully, the U-16's can pick themselves up for Sunday when they face the RGU at Pairc Thomas Russell at 3pm.
* Good luck to the U-14's who take on Ardglass at Downpatrick on Saturday at 12.45pm for the right to be crowned East Down U-14 B Football Champions.
In preparation the team will host Saul in a League game on Thursday night at 6.45pm in Ballykinlar.
