* The Seniors
took on Glasdrumman
on Sunday in
the first of
their pre-season
friendlies at
the Quarter
Road. 3 periods
of 20 minutes
were played
with Glasdrumman
dominating the
first 2. A major
reshuffle by
the Mourne side
in the 3rd period
allowed Dundrum
to capitalise
and eventually
the Duns ran
out winners
by 2 points.
The game was
very useful
for both sides
with Glasdrumman
using a total
of 41 players
while Dundrum
tried out 24
of their panel.
Congratulations
to 16 year old
Conall McKee
who scored a
goal on his
Senior debut
and to Shea
Curran who played
his first game
for the club
at midfield.
A big thanks
goes to Glasdrumman
for facilitating
this game. Also,
the tea and
sandwiches afterwards
were much appreciated.
