GLASDRUMMAN GAC NOTES

Three individual award winners Jamie Carroll, Connaire Harrison and Martin McGrath, Club Chairman John Brennan, guest Daniel Hughes and team mentors Gary McGreevy and Kevin Burns.

1 The Minor's awards for 2007 took place in the Halfway House on Saturday. Thanks to Down Senior player Daniel Hughes for presenting the awards. Cogratulations to Connaire Harrison awarded Player of the Year, Jamie Carroll awarded Sportsman of the Year and Martin McGrath awarded Most Improved Player of the Year. The squad were also presented with their South Down Minors Division Three Runners Up medals for 2007. Well done to all the players and to team mentors Kevin Burns and Gary McGreevy for another successful season.

2 The U-10s and U-12s end of season outing will be in Coco's this Friday evening. The players will be picked up at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.
3 The Club AGM will be held at the clubrooms this Sunday, 16th December, commencing at 3.00pm, everyone welcome.
4 New Club merchandise now available, including new kit bags just delivered. Please contact Terry Joyce for any orders.
5 Congratulations to Sinead Murphy who was awarded with the Down Senior Ladies Player of the Year.
6 The Club, Committee and members of Glasdrumman would like to send their condolences to the McNally family circle on the death of Frank McNally, father of Fiona Smith and grandfather of U-10 player Orlagh. Go ndeanai Dia trocaire a d’anam uasail dhilis .
7 Bingo as usual on Thursday night at 8.30 pm in the Clubrooms, the tote this week stands at a very enticing £6,150.
