GLASDRUMMAN GAC NOTES

1 A big thanks to all who turned out and supported the Christmas Bazaar on Sunday. Thanks also to those who helped out on the day especially William James Smith on the mike and special guest Santa Claus who took time out from his busy schedule to visit the Quarter Road.

2 Congratulations to St. Columban's in winning the U-14 Down Vocational Schools title last Wednesday. The club had three representatives in the final, including two brothers in opposing teams. Congratulations to Richard McAteer and Neill Rodgers who turned out for St. Columban's. Commiserations to Cathal Rodgers who was on the St. Malachy's High School team that finished runners-up in a tight game.

3 The Minor's end of season function will take place in the Halfway House on Saturday 8th December, commencing at 6.00pm. Down Senior Player Daniel Hughes will be the guest for the evening.

4 The Club AGM will be held at the clubrooms on Sunday 16th December, commencing at 3.00pm, everyone welcome.

5 New Club merchandise now available, including new kit bags just delivered. Please contact Terry Joyce for any orders.

6 The Club, Committee and members of Glasdrumman would like to send their condolences to the Savage family circle on the death of Jimmy McGuinness, grandfather of former Club Minor player Patrick Savage. Go ndeanai Dia trocaire a d’anam uasail dhilis .

7 Bingo as usual on Thursday night at 8.30 pm in the Clubrooms.
