GLASDRUMMAN LOSE OUT TO RAMPANT WARRENPOINT

Glasdrumman wnet into this game with an experimental lineout, hoping to put up a good performance in light of a poor run of results.

Warrenpoint started the better and within eleven minutes were ahead two goals and a point to Glasdrumman's one goal, from Shaun Brennan, and two points, one each from Connaire Harrison and James McDowell. Glasdrumman were unable to score for the remainder of the half, while Warrenpoint put away a further four points to leave the half time score Warrenpoint 2-6 Glasrumman 1-2.

Glasdrumman got off to a good start after the break with two points, one each from Connaire Harrison and James McDowell, within two minutes of the restart to close the deficit to five points. Warrenpoint however eased themselves ahead further with another goal and four points in the following ten minutes without reply to effectively end the contest. Shaun Brennan put over a point in the forty third minute, to which Warrenpoint's reply was a further two points. Brian Burns and Shaun Brennan scored a points apiece for Glasdrumman with ten minutes to play followed with another point and a goal from Warrenpoint. Glasdrumman kept plugging away and were rewarded with another two points from Frank O'Neill, before Warrenpoint scored their final point of the game with five minutes remaining. Raymond Magorrian put over a point before James McDowell completed the scoring with a final point to leave the final score Warrenpoint 4-14 Glasdrumman 1-10.
