GLASDRUMMAN GAC NOTES

1       Senior football continues on Friday 29th June, away to Warrenpoint, throw in at 7.15 pm.

2       The Minors had no game last week, their next League game is at home toAnnaclone on Wednesday 27th June, throw in at 7.30pm.

3        The U-16s, playing with Atticall, won their game last week against Ballymartin. Their next game is away to Longstone on Tuesday 3rd July in the League, throw in at 7.30pm.

4       The U-14s, playing with Atticall, played Mitchells last week in the Championship Quarter Finals. The scores were level at half time but Atticall pulled away in the second half to win comfortably in the end. Colum Murphy had a good game in goals, Shane Harrison scored two points from full back and Barry Magee scored two goals and a point from full forward. Their next League game is at home against Aghaderg on Thursday 28th June, throw in at 7.30pm.

5       The U-12s had no game last week but will be in action at the Club Sports on Sunday 1st July. Training continues every Wednesday at 7.30pm at the primary school pitch for U-12s and U-10s.

6       The U-10s had a tough game away to An Riocht last Thursday. Scorers on the evening were Ciaran Trimble (3-0) and Ronan Grant (0-1) and were well supported by Cailum McGrath in goals and Ellen Marks, Orlagh Smith, Amy Marks, Sinead Grant, Dean Murray, James Cunningham, Jordan Doran, Kyle Magee, Sarah Cunningham and Barry Beeks. They will also be in action at the Club Sports on Sunday.

7       The Club's annual Sports Day will be on Sunday 1st July, leaving the Halfway at 1.30pm to the Club pitch.

8       The club would like to offer our sincere condolences to Senior players Kevin and Brian Burns and their family on the death of their uncle John Burns. Go nDeanai Dia trocaire ar a  n-anam uasal dhilis.
