GLASDRUMMAN GAC NOTES

 

1       Well done to the Senior squad for their hard fought come back against Kilclief on Friday night. The next Senior match is away to Ballymartin on Friday 18th May, followed by a home game against Ballyholland on Monday 21st May, both throw ins at 7.00 pm.

2       Well done to the Minor squad for their victory over Tullylish. The next Minor game is at home to Burren in the first round of the Minor Championship on Wednesday 16th May, throw in at 7.30pm. All players please be at the Quarter Road for 6.30pm.

3       The U-16's, playing with Atticall, had a good victory over An Riocht in the first round of the U-16 Championship. Ryan Doran(0-5), Martin McGrath(0-4) and Mark Doran(1-0) contributed to the scoreline, with Ryan McDowell, Nathan McCracken, David McAlinden and Jamie Carroll playing their part in the victory. The next League game is at home to Mitchells on Tuesday 22nd May.

4       The U-14s, playing with Atticall, had another home win against Annaclone on Thursday night. Colum Murphy had another clean sheet ably assisted by Shane Harrison at full back and Richard McAteer and Barry Magee in defence. Neil Rodgers played his usual attacking role from left half back getting on the score sheet yet again while up front Sean Grant also added to his and Attical’s tally. This week the U-14s have no game but are at home to Drumgath on Thursday 24th May, throw in at 7.30pm.

5       The U-12s had no game last week but the  League continues on Sunday 20th May away to St. Michael's, throw in at 11.00 am. Pick up arrangements will be finalised at training.

6       The next U-10 match is on Thursday 24th May, arrangements will be finalised at training on Wednesday night at 7.30pm.

7       The Minor Feis Sevens will take place at Clonduff this Sunday, 20th May starting at 12.30pm. Glasdrumman will play Bosco.

8       The club would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Bannon family on the death of their mother Ellen. Go nDeanai Dia trocaire ar a  n-anam uasal dhilis.

9       Club membership fees for 2007 are now overdue. Please forward outstanding fees to Eddie Feeney or any other Committee member.

10 Bingo as usual on Thursday night at 8.30 pm in the Clubrooms.
