GLASDRUMMAN GAC NOTES
1 Congratulations to the Seniors
on winning their round one Championship
game against St. John's Bosco
on Thursday evening. Their next
league game is on Monday, 25th
August, at home to St. Michael's,
throw in at 7.00pm. The Quarter
Finals of the Championship will
be played between 28th and 31st
August.
2 The Reserves next game is on
Sunday 31st August away to An
Riocht, throw in at 6.00pm.
3 The Minors after a long break
are away to Annaclone this Wednesday,
20th August, throw in at 7.00pm.
4 The U-14s were defeated away
at Drumgath last week. They gave
Drumgath a hard game and kept
them close for the first half.
Drumgath however showed their
strength in the second half and
pulled away at the end. Scorers
on a very wet night were Richard
McAteer 1-1 and Connor Cunningham
0-3. Particular mention must be
made of good performances by Sean
Grant in goals and Colm Murphy
at full back. They are at home
to Longstone this Thursday, 21st
August, throw in at 7.00pm.
5 The U-12s game on Sunday was
called off as the pitch was unplayable
due to the heavy rain on Saturday.
Their next game is at home to
Atticall on Sunday 31st August,
throw in at 11.00am.
6 Could all U-8 players please
be at the school pitch for training
on Wednesday 20th August at 6.30pm.
Training continues at the Primary
School pitch each Sunday at 11.00am.
7 New Club merchandise available,
including new club coats, £25
for junior sizes and £30
for adult sizes. Please contact

8 Bingo as usual on Thursday night
at 8.30 pm in the Clubrooms, the
tote currently stands at £
1,300.
