GLASDRUMMAN GAC NOTES
1 A large crowd, including club
members and St. Mary's Primary
School pupils and staff, assembled
at the Quarter Road last Tuesday
in anticipation of the arrival
of our Celebrity Bainisteoir.
Derek Davis, a native of Hollywood.
received a great welcome from
the team when introduced. Derek
was a household name during his
time as a television presenter
on RTE's Live at Three and will
undoubtedly enjoy his time with
the club.
2 The Seniors end of season do
will take place this Saturday,
6th December, in Quinns, beginning
at 8.30pm.
3 Congratulations to Cathal Rodgers
and Gerard McDowell who were part
of the victorious St. Malachy's
team in the U-14 Down Vocational
Schools Final in Pairc Esler last
week. Commiserations to Shane
Harrison and Neill Rodgers who
played for the St. Columbans team
who lost out to St. Malachy's
in the U-16 Schools Final, also
in Pairc Esler.
4 The Club Committee continue
to put together a development
plan to help improve the facilities
and functions of the club as a
whole. We are asking for ideas
and support from club members,
friends, families and the wider
community to help achieve this.
Questionnaires have been distributed
and we would ask they are returned
completed as soon as possible.
If you have not yet received a
questionnaire, please contact
any Committee member. Your opinion
does count so please give us your
opinion to allow it to count.
5 Thanks to everyone who supported
the club's Christmas Bazaar held
on Sunday.
6 The U-14s & U-12s end of
season do will be held this Friday,
5th December, bowling at The Sheepbridge
Inn. The players will be contacted
by their mentors for pick up arrangements.
7 The club AGM will be held on
Sunday 21st December, 2.30pm in
the clubrooms, everyone welcome.
8 Congratulations to Warrenpoint
on winning Division 2.

12 Bingo as usual on Thursday
night at 8.30 pm in the Clubrooms,
the tote currently stands at £2,050.
