GLASDRUMMAN GAC NOTES
1 The Seniors are at home to
Drumgath on Friday 1st August,
throw in at 7.30pm.
2 The Reserves, Minors and U-14s
have no game this week. U-14 training
will take place on Wednesday 30th
July and Monday 4th August, at
the Primary School pitch at 7.30pm.
3 The Reserves played out a closely
contested game with table topping
Rostrevor recently. Glasdrumman
led at the interval 0-6 to 0-4
but Rostrevor shaded the second
half and led 0-11 to 0-9 with
ten minutes remaining in the game.
As Glasdrumman pushed forward
to get something from the game
Rostrevor punished them with three
late goals to leave the final
score Glasdrumman 0-9 Rostrevor
3-11. The squad on the evening
was Sean Cunningham, Nathan McCracken,
Kevin Burns, Sean McVeigh, Christopher
McDowell, Martin O'Neill (0-2),
Daniel McCartan, Christopher Cassidy,
Sean McDowell, Darren Joyce, Gary
McGreevy, Conor Clerkin (0-6),
Mark Grant, Shaun Brennan (0-1),
Ryan Clerkin. Substitutes used
were Gary Trimble for Ryan Clerkin
and Matthew McDowell for Nathan
McCracken.
4 The U-12s are at home to Aghaderg
on Sunday 3rd August, throw in
at 11.00am.
5 U-8s training continues at the
Primary School pitch each Sunday
at 11.00am.
6 Good Luck to the Down Senior
team against Wexford in their
3rd Round Qualifier on Saturday.
7 The next Committee Meeting is
scheduled for Monday 4th August,
8.00pm in the clubrooms.
8 New Club merchandise available,
including new kit bags. Please

9 Bingo as usual on Thursday night
at 8.30 pm in the Clubrooms, the
tote currently stands at £
1,200.
