GLASDRUMMAN GAC NOTES
1 This week's Seniors home game
against Carryduff has been moved
to Thursday 26th June, throw in
at 7.30pm.
2 The Reserves had another very
good game at home to Burren on
Sunday, grinding out a single
point victory in blustery conditions.
Their next league game is at home
to Rostrevor on Sunday 29th June,
throw in at 6.00pm.
3 The Minors are away to Atticall
on Wednesday 25th June, throw
in at 7.30pm.
4 The U-14s were away to Longstone
last Thursday evening and they
had their best performance of
the season to date, coming away
with a well deserved draw scoring
7-7 to 5-13. The entire team from
1 to 15 played with determination
and skill and are improving impressively
with every game. Scorers on the
night were Cathal Rodgers (4-3),
Gerard McDowell (1-1), Conor McKay
(1-0), James Cunningham (1-0),
Martin McVeigh (0-1), Ronan Grant
(0-1) and Colm Murphy (0-1). They
were well supported by Sean Grant
in goals, who made a brilliant
penalty save, Ryan McKay, Calum
McGrath, Ciaran Trimble, Connor
Cunningham, Jack Newell, Conor
McCartan and Niall Rooney. Their
scheduled game away to Annaderg
on Thursday 26th June, may be
changed to accomodate the Seniors
game. Details will be finalised
at training.
5 The U-12s also had a good win
on Sunday away at St. Michael's
winning 4-10 to 1-7. Well done
to Ryan McKay, Dean Murray, Ellen
Marks, Orlaith Smith, Gerard McDowell,
Conor McCartan, Ronan Grant, Sinead
Grant, Sarah Cunningham, Niall
Rooney, Connor Cunningham, Ciaran
Trimble and Calum McGrath. Their
next game is on Sunday 29th June
at home to Longstone, throw in
at 11.00am.
6 The U-8s training continues
at the Primary School pitch each
Sunday at 11.00am.
7 The Club Sports Day will take
place on Sunday 6th July, weather
permitting, at the Quarter Road.

10 The club's first Golf Classic
will be held this year on Friday
4th July at Kilkeel Golf Club.
The entry fee is £120 per
team of four players, with a limited
number of tee off times at this
stage to choose from. If anyone
is interested in sponsoring a
tee, green or prize or entering
a team for the competition please
contact club PRO, Liam Cunningham
or any Committee member.

night at 8.30 pm in the Clubrooms,
