GLASDRUMMAN GAC NOTES
1 The Seniors home
game against Mitchells has been changed
to Thursday 8th May ,throw in at 7.30pm.
2 The Reserves narrowly
lost to Mayobridge on Sunday, the
goals conceded proving to be costly
in the end in a game were Glasdrumman
again played some good football throughout.
Please keep an eye on the press for
further details of their next game.
3 The Minors play
tonight, Wednesday 7th May, away to
Annaclone, throw in at 7.30pm.
4 The U-14s lost
out to a very good Mitchells team
last Thursday, but not before giving
them a fright. Glasdrumman had a particularly
good first half taking the lead for
a short period before lack of match
fitness allowed Mitchells to take
control of the game. They play Longstone
at home on Friday 9th May, throw in
at 7.30pm. Training as usual each
Wednesday at 7.30pm and Sunday at
11.00am.
5 The U-12s game
at Aghaderg was postponed on Sunday,
they also have no game this week but
next play on Sunday, 18th May away
to Atticall, throw in at 11.00am.
Training is on Wednesday evenings
at 7.30am. at the Primary School pitch
with the U-14s.
6 The U-8s training
continues at the Primary School pitch
each Sunday at 11.00am.
7 The club's first
Golf Classic will be held this year
on Friday 4th July at Kilkeel Golf
Club. The entry fee is £120
per team of four players. If anyone
is interested in sponsoring a tee,
green or prize or entering a team
for the competition please contact
club PRO, Liam Cunningham or any Committee
member.
8 New Club merchandise
now available, including new kit bags.
Please contact Terry Joyce for any
orders.
9 Bingo as usual
on Thursday night at 8.30 pm in the
Clubrooms, the tote currently stands
at £ 7,200.
