Kilcoo GAA held their Annual General
Meeting on Tuesday 4th January in
the clubrooms. In front of the biggest
AGM in resent years the chairman,
Roger Morgan, highlighted the achievements
of teams at all levels this year
and in particular the U12’s
in winning the County title. He
congratulated the seniors on reaching
their second league final in a row
and called on the county board to
make sure in future years that no
team is left in a position of waiting
2 months before playing in a final.
He also thanked everyone for their
continued commitment and dedication
to the club and called on each and
every person to get behind them
as they move forward.
In the election of officers there
were a number of changes, none more
so than Patrick Morgan (Dromena),
who after 36 years as Secretary
handed over the reigns. In his final
report he raised a number of challenges
the club still needed to face and
wished his predecessor the best
of luck. Patrick continues to show
his support for the club and remains
a committed committee member. There
is also a new face in the position
of Vice Chairman. Brian Devlin replaces
Gerry Kane who had been vice chairman.
