Senior Football Championship: Rostrevor 1-10 Loughisland 0-10
Rostrevor put in a storming finish to pip Loughisland on a
scoreline of 1-10 to 0-10. The Loughinisland side played well in the opening half
and were well worth their three points lead at the break 0-7 to 0-4.
However,
Rostrevor upped their performance in the second-half, and when Martin Sherry flicked
a cross to the Loughisland net followed by a Martin Cole point to level the scores
they always looked the likely winners.
They had a great
closing quarter with Adrian Macken scoring some fine points to send them into
the next round of the competition.
