FERMANAGH minor champions Derrygonnelly
over-came Rostrevor in an exciting Dale farm Ulster
Club MFC game in St Paul's Park on Sunday past.
The game was an individual scoring
contest between Derrygonnelly's Garvan McGinley who
scored six of his side's points and Rostrevor's corner
forward Adrian Mackin who notched up a similar score
again mostly from frees.
The sides were level at 0-8 each
at half time. In the third quarter Derrgonnelly moved
into a four point lead before Rostrevor fought back.
Derrygonnelly, however, finished
the stronger with goals from Damian Dundas and substitute
Barry McCauley for a deserved win.
