WINNING START FOR STRONG REDS

Rostrevor 1-12 Warrenpoint 0-4

A strong Rostrevor side got the new season of to a promising start with this impressive 1-12 to 0-4 victory over neighbours Warrenpoint in Pettit Park last Sunday. Gary Farrells first half goal helped Reds to build up an interval lead of 1-6 to 0-1 and while the visitors did much better after the break, Rostrevor added another six points in the second half  to run out handsome winners.

Top performer for Rostrevor was Colm Clerkin, who scored four of their points.others to impress were Aidan Cousins and Adrian Magee in defence, and Conor Mackin and Conor Magee in attack.
