Saval Ladies Football News
Ladies football in Saval started
just over two years ago and has
gone from strength to strength,
with a current membership of 50
girls aged 9-17. We welcome the
following new members: Catherine
Hughes, Jenny Hughes and Rachael
Oliver. At present there are four
teams: Under-12, Under-14, Under-16
and Junior all of which have enjoyed
success.

The Under 16 league is due to commence
on Sunday 27 th February

Challenge Match
The Under 16 girls recently travelled
to Aughlisnafin for a challenge
match and came away comfortable
winners against a young and determined
Fin side. It was a good run out
which gave the management team of
Anthony Crozier and Damien Lennon
the opportunity to assess players
for the coming season.
