Under 12 Girls

Training every Thursday 6-00pm to 7-00pm – In hall

All girls born after 31 December 1994 are eligible for this age group

 

Under 14 Girls

Training has started!! Every Tuesday and Friday 6-30pm to 7-30pm

 

Under 16/Senior Girls

The girls had a brilliant day at Lurgaboy Adventure Centre last Saturday. (See photos)

27 girls took part divided into 3 teams: The Cows, The Sheep and The Monkeys. There were lots of activities throughout the day: The Spider Web, Cycling, Orienteering, Archery, Plank thing, Bucket thing and Tug of War. The overall winners were The Sheep followed closely by The Cows and The Monkeys who were a very creditable third. The Sheep easily won the Tug Of War and the Archery where Maeve Mullen and Charlene Malone excelled

A big thank you to Niamh Lennon for arranging the day.

 

Congratulations to:

1. Niamh McGowan who made her Senior County debut last Sunday against Tipperary in the National League
2. Lorraine Havern who won an Ulster Handball title last Saturday and will now go through to the All Ireland Finals in Kilkenny
