Saval Ladies Football – 2007 Review.

2007 has been another very successful year for the ladies with three County Titles coming to Saval

The Under 12 Girls completed their league programme.
This was a very young side and virtually all the panel is eligible for next season.

The Under 14 Girls completed their league programme and for the first time in five years they did not win it.
The girls did however win the Saval Tournament.
Colleen Lennon represented the club at County level.

The Under 16 side completed the League and Championship double for the second year in a row with Final wins over Bryansford and Rostrevor respectively.
The Under 16 Captain was Niamh Millar
Under 16 Player of the year: Lorraine Havern
At County level we had seven players Lorraine Havern, Rachel Havern, Eimear Kane, Natashya Lennon, Christine McCarthy, Anna Madine and Niamh Millar.

The Minor girls won the League for the second year in succession with victory over neighbours Burren in the final.
All the girls are eligible again next year
The Minor Captain was Catherine Digney
Minor Player of the Year: Christine McCarthy
Catherine Digney, Vicki Lennon, Christine McCarthy and Niamh McGowan represented their club at County level.

The Senior Ladies finished a very creditable third in the league in their first season and put up a good show in the championship.
The Senior Captain was Michelle Fearon
Senior Player of the Year: Vicki Lennon
At county level we were represented by Niamh Lennon, Emma Madine, Niamh McGowan and Lynsey Cunningham.
