St John’s and Dromara under-12s and under-10s enjoy day in sun
|
The young footballers of
St John’s
and Dromara displayed great enthusiasm
and application, lots of promise and no
shortage of ability when their
respective under-12s and under-10s
played each other in Go Games at
Drumnaquoile on Saturday.
Everyone played for the full game, with
players shuffling between positions at
every quarter. That is a practice that
will take a few weeks to bed in but when
it does it will benefit us all as we
produce better more rounded players.
There are some who say that Tyrone stars
Ryan McMenamin and Brian Dooher still
play Go Games as they seem to get around
to every position on the field each
game.
I won’t report scoreline or scorers
because that is not what Go Games is
about. I can report that forty children
enjoyed themselves on a sunny afternoon
and will no doubt be back for more.
