St John’s Notes
28th March 2007
|
I’m writing this from the Departure Lounge at the
International airport. I’m off to spend
my winnings from the BIG RACE DAY on
Sunday at Downpatrick Racecourse. How
the bookies suffered! I wish!!! Our Race
Day was a big success again for the
club, blessed with a good turnout on a
beautiful day. Many thanks to everyone
for their support on the day, and of
course to S & C and others who put in a
massive amount of work beforehand.
There were two meetings last night (Tuesday) when the
juvenile committee and the Football
Development Working Group got together.
The next Management Committee meeting is
on Monday 2nd April at
9.00pm.
The lottery numbers were 8, 13, 15 and 20 – there was only
one £10 winner and the jackpot is now
£2,150.
A number of stools have strayed from the club – if anyone
sees them please shepherd them back in
our direction.
We hope to shortlist the applicants this week for applicants
for the jobs advertised over the past
coupe of weeks - to help out on an
occasional basis at various functions in
the clubrooms.
Football training for the under-12s, under-10s and under-8s
will start on Friday 6th
April at
5.00pm to 6.30pm.
