St John’s Notes 14th November 2007
We are guaranteed a full house on Friday
(16th) as we’re holding a Bingo Night
- doors open at 8.00pm. We are delighted to
have received great support from a range of
local business who are donating prizes –
so it’s a big thank you to Diamond Pats,

The full house may be well worth it in every
sense.
Our Juvenile Presentation Night, for all
age groups, will be on Friday 23rd at 8.00pm.
Our Annual General Meeting will be held on
Sunday 25th November at 2.00pm. Nomination
and Motion/Recommendation forms should be
returned by this evening or on Friday at the
Bingo at the very latest. There is a supply
Nomination and Motion/Recommendation forms
in the club porch. A list of nominees and
details of motions and recommendations wil
be available from Saturday 17th.
Congratulations to our quiz team of Conor
Morgan, Derbhla Arkins, Neil Magorrian and
our solo singer, Daniel McKay, who now advance
from Sundays East down final to the All County
Final at 6.00pm in Saval on Sunday 25th. Commiserations
and thanks to our musicians Catherine Walsh
and James Walsh.

We have received a commission cheque for
£131.74 from Gaelic Telecom, thanks
to those members and supporters who have switched
over to Gaelic Telecom (0870 22 44 226).
Fitness Nights continue on Thursdays in Aughlisnafin
Hall, from 7.00 to 8.00pm.
Last week’s lottery numbers were 1,
8, 9 and 12. There were no winners at all
and the jackpot now stands at £2,550.
