St John's Notes 14th Nov 2007

St John’s Notes 14th November 2007

We are guaranteed a full house on Friday (16th) as we’re holding a Bingo Night - doors open at 8.00pm. We are delighted to have received great support from a range of local business who are donating prizes – so it’s a big thank you to Diamond Pats, Burrendale Hotel, Maghera Inn, Slieve Croob Inn, Stylistics, Wok Express, Slieve Donard, Soak Seaweed Baths, Tranquil Beauty, Milligans Tyres, The Brandy Pad, TJ’s Jems, Hillyard House, Legmore, Blue Beans, Susan Farrel (Chiropodist), O’Hare’s Fashions, Maginn’s, Stevies’ Chinese Ballynahinch, Power House and of course the ever reliable ANON. The full house may be well worth it in every sense.

Our Juvenile Presentation Night, for all age groups, will be on Friday 23rd at 8.00pm.

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 25th November at 2.00pm. Nomination and Motion/Recommendation forms should be returned by this evening or on Friday at the Bingo at the very latest. There is a supply Nomination and Motion/Recommendation forms in the club porch. A list of nominees and details of motions and recommendations wil be available from Saturday 17th.

Congratulations to our quiz team of Conor Morgan, Derbhla Arkins, Neil Magorrian and our solo singer, Daniel McKay, who now advance from Sundays East down final to the All County Final at 6.00pm in Saval on Sunday 25th. Commiserations and thanks to our musicians Catherine Walsh and James Walsh.
