St John’s Notes 7th November 2007
Our Annual General Meeting will be held on
Sunday 25th November at 2.00pm. Nomination
and Motion/Recommendation forms are currently
being circulated. As these have ben slow going
out the return date will be extended until
next Wednesday (14th). If you haven’t
received one yet there is a supply in the
club porch.
Our teams did well at the East Down Scór
na nÓg semi-final in Loughinisland
on Sunday with our quiz team, solo-singer
and instrumental music entrants advancing
to next Sunday’s final. Well done to
Conor Morgan, Derbhla Arkins, Neil Magorrian,
Daniel McKay, Catherine Walsh and James Walsh.
Best of luck in the final.
We have received a commission cheque for
£131.74 from Gaelic Telecom, thanks
to those members and supporters who have switched
over to Gaelic Telecom. Any member or supporter
who wishes to help our club raise money and

Fitness Nights continue on Thursdays in Aughlisnafin
Hall, from 7.00 to 8.00pm.
Last week’s lottery numbers were 2,
8, 14 and 18 - there were no winners at all
and the jackpot now stands at £2,550.
Our next Poker Night will be on this Friday
(9th November)
We will be holding Bingo Night on Friday
16th - doors open at 8.00pm. We are delighted
to have received great support from a range
of local business who are donating prizes
- the full house will be well worth it.
