Our Senior Presentation Night and Dinner Dance will be on Saturday October 27th – this is earlier than usual and is timed to mark our thirtieth anniversary. Tickets are limited – contact Jennifer Savage (4377 1411) or Caroline McKay (078 4110 0253).

Our under-8s rounded off their successful season with an enjoyable trip to Kilcoo on Sunday morning.

If you didn’t make it to the first Fitness Nights last Thursday you can still come along tomorrow (Thursday). This is in Aughlisnafin Hall, from 7.00 to 8.00pm at a cost of £2.50 per person.

We are only a few weeks away from the start of the Scór na nÓg competition with the East Down semi-finals on Sunday 28th October and Sunday 4th November. If anyone is interested in entering either the Scór or Scór na nÓg competitions, or helping out in any way, please contact Pep Keenan, Caroline McKay or Eoin Walsh. The East Down final will be on Sunday 11th November. The All county final will be on Sunday 25th November.

The county board are running a “Train to Train” workshop for those working with, or intending to work with, juvenile players in the under-14 and under-16 brackets. This is on Thursday (18th), starting at 7.30pm in St Malachy’s High School. This event is FREE to all club coaches. There have been workshops for the younger age ranges over the last couple of weeks
