As the playing season turns to a close we
must turn our attention to the cultural side
of things. If anyone is interested in entering
either the Scór or Scór na nÓg
competitions, or helping out in any way, please
contact Pep Keenan, Caroline McKay or Eoin
Walsh.
Our under-10s and under-8s are still working
hard and have a couple of busy weekends ahead
to finish off the season. All under-10 players
should be at the club at 9.30am on Saturday
22nd for last East Down U-10 Go Games Blitz.
The under-8s should be at the club on at 10.00am
on Sunday (23rd), with as many under-10s as
possible coming along to support them. Gerard
Magorrian is also trying to arrange a few
more games over the following weekends, so
all players need to keep coming along.
Our minors entertained Bryansford last Monday
evening but were unable to match the visitors
scoring power.
We will be hosting a training session for
the East Down under-14 Development Squad on
Wednesday evening.
The management committee meeting scheduled
for last Monday has been rearranged for Monday
24th at 9.00pm.
Last Thursday’s lottery numbers were
15, 16, 20 and 21 – an unpopular combination
as nobody got nothing. The jackpot is now
£2,200.

Our Senior Presentation Night and Dinner
Dance will be on Saturday October 27th –
this is earlier than usual and is timed to
mark our thirtieth anniversary. More details
