St John’s Notes 26th September 2007
Our under-12s had a very enjoyable outing
to Burren on Sunday and had the novel experience
of playing under floodlights. Everyone enjoyed
the football and the warm welcome, and the
fact that proceeds were going to the Newry
Hospice made the event all the better.
As the playing season winds up we must turn
our attention to the cultural side of things.
If anyone is interested in entering either
the Scór or Scór na nÓg
competitions, or helping out in any way, please
contact Pep Keenan, Caroline McKay or Eoin
Walsh.
Last Thursday’s lottery numbers were
1, 7, 18 and 24 – there were 5 £10
winners and the jackpot is now £2,250.
If you wish to receive a copy of the 50th
edition of our club bulletin you can either
pick one up at the club or contact PRO Kevin
McGlynn on 078 396 0804.
Our Senior Presentation Night and Dinner
Dance will be on Saturday October 27th –
this is earlier than usual and is timed to
mark our thirtieth anniversary. More details
to follow.
We extend our sympathies to the family of
Peggy Knight.
