Under 16's Defeat Saul In Championship
The Under 16's enjoyed an excellent win over Saul in the U16 B Football Championship on Thursday night.

St. Paul's got off to a great start with a point from Kieran McMullan before Ryan Tumelty opened his account with three points, one from a free. It was fifteen minutes in before St. Paul's disturbed the net, with Ryan Tumelty supplying the finish. Further scores from Michael Gibson, Chris McWilliams and Tumelty saw St. Paul's into a comfortable lead, however Saul managed to battle back into it as the game progressed to half time, including a late goal to leave the half-time score St. Paul's 2-8 Saul 1-2.
St. Paul's got a perfect start to the second half a Ryan Tumelty goal was followed by another thanks to Tony Galbraith. St. Paul's continued to dominate for much of the second half although managed to point a further three times through Gibson, Galbraith and Kevin hinds before Ryan Tumelty's younger brother Tony added another goal. Similar to the first half Saul came back at St. Paul's as the game approached the final whistle, adding a number of scores including two goals, to leave the final score St. Paul's 5-11 Saul 3-8.
This was an excellent team performance, with stand out contributions from Ryan Tumelty (including an fantastic individual goal), Callam Pedan and Greg Walls at full back.
