Teconnaught GFC Notes

- Lotto Numbers for 12/08/07 were 9, 12, 27 & 28. B & B McNamara matched 3 numbers to win £50. Jackpot next week is £3250

- Fun Day will take place on Sunday 26th August (weather permitting). All usual attractions will take place and the A-ll Ireland Semi-Final will be shown live in the Clubrooms.

- Seniors were beaten in Junior Championship on Saturday in Downpatrick against a much stronger Dundrum side. Teconnaught were missing a number of key players through suspension and injury including Barry Rogan, David McGreevy, Paul Burns and Paddy Flanagan however, these were not reasons for the defeat. Teconnaught played much of the game with 14 men after Simon Kerr was sent off after 10 minutes for a silly mistake. Teconnaught did however get the opportunity to make the scoreline more attractive when Henry Greene won a penalty in the 2nd minute of injury time but unfortunately Niall Sweeney was unable to convert as he had done in the 1st half and the scoreline finished 1-02 to 0-9.

- U16 Championship Semi-Final against Drumaness was postponed on Saturday and will now take place on Saturday 25th August. Players to contact Robbie or Andrew for further information.

- Seniors will now take on Ardglass at home on Friday night however, players and supporters to note that the match has an earlier starting time of 7pm.

- Reserve match against Darragh Cross has now been re-arranged for this Sunday.
