played Carryduff on Friday away
and ended on a score of 1-7
to 2-7 in favour of Carryduff.
Tony Rogan scored a goal and
a point and was assisted up
front by Ronan Sweeney and Henry
Greene who score a point, Niall
Sweeney had a great game in
defence and contributed 4 points,and
fellow defender Owen Flanagan
scoring a point.Teconnaught
played well and considering
injuries and players overseas
gave a good account of themselves
in Carryduff, GP Mullholland
is reminding all players that

shorts must be paid immediately.

played Kilcoo on Sunday and
were unlucky to be beat on a
score line of 3-9 to 1-7 a very
young team was on show for Teconnaught
and were unlucky but the experience
will hold them in good stead.
* Minor football Teconnaught
played Saul and loss out on
a score line of 3-5 to 1-9 Sean
Rogan had a very good game in
defence as did Matthew Brannigan
in mid field Teconnaughts next
match is a home match to Bredagh.
* Injury list is still increasing
unlucky Colm Flanagan broke
his ankle in a friendly against
Drumaness on Monday last,Paul
Burns also injured his foot
and Connor Heath has a groin
injury which requires surgery,we
wish them all a speedy recovery,
at this rate of going we will
have to dig deep into the pot
for players lets hope we dont
have to look for any old crocks
most of those boys can only
talk agood game now.
* Under 14 Girls Annaclone
was the visitors to Rann Road
in what turned out to be a great
game of under age football,Teconnaught
3-4 Annaclone 3-3. Annaclone
had the better of the play in
the first half , In the second
half Teconnaught started well
and Down and Teconnaught under
14 captain Nichole Mullholland
dominated in mid field , Amy
Greene organised the backs very
well was assisted by Yasmin
Elhertani and up front Jennifer
Greene and Ailia Bradley scored
the goals. A frantastic team
spirit and determination saw
Teconnaught win the game in
the last minute well done girls
for the never say die attitude.
