*Senior debut for Rory Mc Donnell who played well and was unlucky to come off injured at half time away to Ardglass .The first half was riddled with fouls and dangerous play from Ardglass with E Flannagan saving a goal chance 3 minutes prior to half time,Teconnaught scored their only point of the first half after a good solo run by D Mc Greevey.In the second half Teconnaught were guilty of missing some crucial scores with G Fitzsimmons missing in front of the net only for Ardglass to score a goal at the other end.However G Fitzsimmons had another chance on the Ardglass goal and Teconnaught was awarded a penalty which R Sweeney converted Teconnaught continued their fight back however Ardglass proved to strong in the last minutes of the game winning 3-9 to 1-7

*Reserve football was a home game against Kilcoo and in the first half it was all Kilcoo who scored 1-5 toTeconnaught 0-2.In the second half after harsh words from joint managers K Kelly and B Maguire Teconnaught started to use the ball and dominate around the middle with good work from D Mulholland and P Flanaghan ,it was also good to see C Flanaghan back from injury.Again good work in defence by B Casement and E Bell and up front D Kelly Kilcoo won 1-12 to 2-5
