Teconnaught Notes 30th March 2008


*Senior football
The senior team played Glassdrumond and were defeated on a scoreline of Teconnaught 0-7 Glassdrumond 3-12.Teconnaught played well in the first half but conceded a soft goal and Glassdrumond led 1-4 to Teconnaught 0-5,after the break Glassdrumond pulled away from Teconnaught in the second half,Simon Kerr worked hard at midfield ,the next match is sunday at home to Carryduff check paper for time.The clubrooms will be opened for
refreshments after match.
*Poker night
A very sucessful night in the clubrooms on saturday night a big thanks to Coke Kielty , Denis Mc Grath and Brendan Maguire for organising the nights cards.Also the floor staff and bar team and rest of club members for there help on the night.

*Girls under 16
The girls played Downpatrick on sunday last and gave a good performance despite missing some key players Laura Burns,Katey murphy did well at midfield also the three Bradley girls were busy all over the park .Downpatrick ran out winners at the end but it was a good hard workind performance from a young Teconnaught team keep up the good work girls
*Under 12 first league match of the season against Kilief on sunday 6th april meeting at clubrooms 11 sharp also traning as usual for under 6 -10 on sunday.
