TECONNAUGHT GFC NOTES
- Congratulations to the Senior
team who overcame Dromara, Ballykinlar
& finally St Johns in the
East Down Feis 7's on Sunday
in Drumaness to lift the title
this year. Teconnaught played
St Johns in the final for the
second year in a row however,
this year the boys came out
on top. Well done to the 10
boys who turned up & played
on the day - Justin Kelly, Ciaran
MacNamara, Henry Green, Seamus
Madine, David McGreevy, Paul
Mulholland, Chris Clarke, Niall
Sweeney, Cormac Carville &
Eamon Bell. Commisserions to
St Johns on their defeat! The
team will now progress to play
the winners of the South Down
Feis 7's in the County Final.
Hopefully this win will lift
their confidence and put them
in good stead when they face
St Pauls away this Friday at
730pm. All support will be welcome.
Rota for match is - Umpires:
Robbie Greene & Tony Green
and Linesman is Kevin Kelly.
Members are reminded that they
must arrange alternative cover
if they are unable to make the
game.
- The U12's also had an excellent
win on Sunday overcoming Ardglass
by 2-18 to 0-00! There was an
excellent performance from Man
of the Match Conor Brannigan
who cleaned up every ball at
the back and he was ably assisted
by James Greene who with midfielders
Patrick Maguire & Joseph
Larkin were able to dominate
around the middle. Up front
Patrick Grant was on form and
good points from Lorcan McDonnell,
Peter Maguire and Ben Casement
ensured the points were coming
to Teconnaught. Overall this
was an excellent display of
team work & commitment and
hopefully these boys are on
course to lift the C Title this
year.
- There will be an U10 Go Games
series in Teconnaught on Saturday
24th May. Players should contact
Seamus or Dominic for further

have the ability to overcome
Saval who ran out 7-15 to 0-11
winners.

June to say farewell to Niall
& Paul Mulholland who will
