*Senior football was a home
match against Saul ,Teconnaught
played a very compact game and
contained the Saul team to very
few chances and forced a lot
of errors from Saul in the first
half. This was a good performance
from Teconnaught and Conor Brennan
was the danger man up front
for Teconnaught kicking seven
points.Ciaran Mc Namara was
strong in defence and carried
a lot of ball forward and was
assisted in midfield by David
Mc Greevey ,the game turned
in the second half with two
soft goals for the visitors
Saul ,at this stage Teconnaught
needed more options up front
,however a good performance
by the home team unlucky, not
to get a result from this game.
*Reserve football was an away
match against St Johns in which
St Johns won by eight points
a match where Teconnaught were
lacking in numbers and had to
look to the Greene brothers
Robbie and Jim to make up the
team, and both brothers showed
there still life in the old
dogs with Robbie still looking
sharp up front.Micheal Casement
had a fine game as did young
Ciaran Carville ,hopefully players
will make themselves available
for the next match.
