*Seniors were beaten on Saturday
by Carryduff with 4 points being
the margin. The boys started
well and an early goal by Connor
Brennan saw the team go in 1-5
to 0-5 at half-time. Carryduff
came out and immediately had
drawn level within 2 minutes
of the re-start. They then got
a soft goal and from here-on-in
we were playing catch-up.The
referee didn't do much on the
day to help the flow of play
as he continously stopped play
yet when Simon Kerr was injured
he instructed that he was removed
to the sideline and the referee
continued with the game! It
is difficult to understand why
the County Board sent a St Pauls
referee to officiate in the
first place as our defeat on
Saturday ensured that St Pauls
are safe in Division 3!
This now means that we are almost
certainly destined for relegation
play-offs where we will need
every one of the players to
give 100% to ensure we come
out of them on the right side.
We also would like to see all
members come out and give their
support to the team.
They still have one more game
to play against St Michaels
at home this weekend.
Rota for this game is - Kevin
Crawford, Anthony Green, Jim
Green & Brendan Maguire
