Tullylish recovered from a disastrous
first half to just loose out in
a keenly contested local derby with
Annaclone on Tuesday night last.
Indeed had Tullylish been more accurate
in front of goal the result would
have been different.
Tullylish did start well scoring the first point though John McAreavey but in the next 20 minutes Annaclone ran riot scoring 11 points without reply. Tullylish looked dispirited throughout this period and a serious hammering looked on the cards. Gradually Tullylishes work rate increased and they started winning more breaking ball around midfield they did pull one back through a fisted effort from Colin Thompson but missed several other chances to draw themselves closer leaving the half time score Annaclone 0-12 Tullylish 0-2
Tullylish started the second half as they finished the first and slowly got a grip on the game throughout the half. Both sides exchanged points in the first 10 minutes of the half but warning signs of a big Tullylish finish were there. Tullylish shot poorly throughout the half but were back in the game when Gary Chambers blasted the ball to the net. This brought the defecate to 7 but Annaclone fought hard and once again both side exchanged points before Colin Thompson was put through one on one with the keeper and rolled the ball to the net. This gave Tullylish a real boost but with chances still going a begging they could only cut the defecate to 3 before the end.
Tullylish are desperately in need of points and if they could play for a full 60 minutes they will pick up victory's in their remaining games.
