Clonduff too Strong for Warrenpoint

Warrenpoint senior hurling team lost to a very strong Clonduff side newly demoted from D1.

Clonduff where made to work for their win by the point team who never give up, with big Ruir Fegan in goal and a backline of E Mc Conville, K Rice and L Rice half backline of M Kelly, team captain D Mc Conville and D Doyle stood up well to the attacks from Clonduff.

In midfield F Mc Givern and C O Rielly worked well, the half forwards C Mc Key, T Mulligan, J O'Hare along with the forwards P Burns P Lock and J Fegan found them selves struggling against a very strong defence but the point faught for every score they got and although we may have lost the match, Warrenpoint or determined to make progress this season, under the management of Liam Boyle the point remain focused on improving their game.
