Warrenpoint Hurling
Notes - 01st June 2004

U10 * The first game for the U10 was
a great success for these young hurlers
of the future playing against Liatroim
at Miltown. Manager Declan Doyle was
very pleased with the girls and boys
who showed some good skills, well done
to them all.
* U12 * Lost to Liatroim in a league
fixture .
* U14 * Lost away to
a well drilled and disciplined Ballyvarley
side who with this result finished section
winners of phase one. The point side
scored 2.6 to their score of 8.6 . *Mark
Rafferty was named U14 hurler of the
month (May) by the point team manager.
* U16 * No fixtures
. Training on going ,including some
16,s training with the senior panel
on sunday mornings.
* Seniors * Have a
busy cuple of weeks ahead of them selves
with fixtures to be fulfiled .We are
away to Castlewellan on tuesday evening
and away to Ballela on thursday ,and
the following week away to clonduff
(tues) and shamrocks (thurs) pick up
point for all games the square 6.30
pm.

* Please support St Peters club by purchasing
a weekly lotto from joan / stephen,
kevin, gerry, decky, ruri, john, eugene,
dairmuid or buy a monthly draw ticket
from kiven or decky either way if your
not in u cant win. *Child awareness
course is to be held in club rooms on
thursday evening 3rd june. *Underage
annual sponsored walk will take place
during june all underage players are
expected to take part. Parents / Guardians
are very welcome to attend and help
supervise this event.
