Warrenpoint Hurling News - March 2004

Newry shamrocks who field a team at minor hurling level have a number of point players made available to them due to not having enough of their own. The point lads have enjoyed the games so far and mixed well with the newry boys, picking up valuable experience at this level. Boys involved

J O'HARE, C ROONEY, S BURNS, M HUGHES, M MURPHY, C O'NEILL, K MAXWELL, C CUNNINGHAM, D GRANT, A HIGGINS.

Point Under 16 Manager Patrick Burns says that the opportunity for the minors/under 16, s to play at minor level can only but improve their skills and give them an insight into the standard set by other minor hurling teams in the county, the point will have to compete with next year if we field a minor team.
