AUSTRALIA ANNOUNCE PLAYING
SQUAD FOR FIRST TEST 23/10/03

Australia have announced their squad for the First Test of the Fosters
International Series at Subiaco this Friday night.
A capacity crowd of
40,000 plus will be hoping to spur the Australian team on to victory in the first
test of the two test series.
Shane Crawford from Hawthorn Football Club
will captain the home team, while Brisbane Lions premiership player Chris Johnson
has been honoured with the vice-captaincy.
Johnson delayed surgery on
a shoulder injury that he received in this years AFL grand final in order to be
available to represent his country.
The Irish squad is due to be announced
shortly.
