Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has restored Cormac McAnallen and Sean Cavanagh to the Tyrone midfield for Sunday's Ulster football final against Down.
The first-choice midfield pairing have regained full fitness after missing the semi-final win over Antrim. Gerard Cavlan and Kevin Hughes formed a solid deputising partnership against the Saffrons, but have been switched to the attack in place of Mark Harte and Stephen O'Neill.
O'Neill has been omitted from the side due to an ankle injury, but manager Mickey Harte is delighted to be able to welcome back McAnallen and Cavanagh.
“Cormac has a lot of experience despite the fact that he's only 23 years of age and Sean was in fine form before he got his injury, so we hope he can rediscover his form. He hasn't played any games since the second Derry match, but I'd be confident that he's looking fit enough and looking sharp enough,” he said.
John Devine came through his first full training session on Tuesday night, July 8, since picking up a rib injury against Antrim, and retains his place in goal.
The defence is unchanged.
