Travers hangs up county boots - 13/03/03

County football keeper Peter Travers has hung up his county gloves. The Bryansford star, who featured strongly in past seasons for the county, has decided to concentrate on the club game. He played his last game for the county only two weeks ago against Laois. Travers has stated ''My county career is at a pause at the minute. I just decided that enough was enough,''.

Travers has given six years to the County and now wants to give his all for Bryansford.
