A meeting was held in Castlewellan Clubrooms on 6 December to discuss the Development of a Strategic Plan for Down Camogie.  Michael McClements Ulster Development Officer and Bernie McNally County Junior Team Manager along with 15 club representatives decided an Open Day will be held on 22nd January 2006 in Liatriom Clubrooms.  All clubs along with special guests will be invited to give their input to the way forward for our national game in the county.

The vacant post of secretary has been filled by Ursula Quinn (Clonduff).  Ursula is niece of outgoing secretary Rosemary Young and daughter of GAA County Chair Jerry Quinn.
