Coulter and Colgan Launch Down Yearbook for 2005

Down has consistently produced one of the best GAA yearbooks in the country winning the GAA’s McNamee Award for the best Yearbook in 2003 and 2004.  This year is no different with Down once again producing an outstanding production, crammed with articles on Hurling, Football, Handball, Camogie, Scór and indeed all aspects of Gaelic culture within the County.

The book which has been edited by Down County GAA PRO Diarmuid Cahill includes information on clubs the length and breadth of the county as well as articles on the various county teams with pride of place going to this years All Ireland Minor Champions.

The book also has a number of feature articles which people might find interesting including: Ray Morgan – Godfather of Gaelic football, A Profile of 1960’s star Willie Doyle, Schooldays – ‘The best days of your life’ and The Time has come for the class of 1999.

All in all, the Down GAA Yearbook 2005 is an absolute goldmine of intriguing information and must for all Down GAA followers.

The Year book is available from all usual outlets and GAA Clubs within County Down at just £7.00.
