Down Camogie Development Day

SUNDAY 22^nd JANUARY – LIATRIOM CLUBROOMS

The committee chaired by Liatrioms Maureen O’Higgins have a full programme which will include information on coaching, refereeing, marketing, administration, schools & underage development.  Guest speakers will include Camogie Association representatives Sheila O’Donough, Lynn Kelly (National Camogie Development Officer), Paul Welsh (Daily Ireland) Paul McStravick (Down Junior Team Coach) Una Kearney (Refereeing) Dan McCartan (Down County Board) Representative from Cumann na mBunscol and Down Football Development Squads, Mairin McAleenan & Helen McAleevey (Ulster Council).

Registration will commence at 10am followed by speakers.  After lunch small workshops will be set to where representatives will have a chance to discuss their chosen topic.

Clubs have been formally invited and the committee would also extend this to invitation to any other interested parties in particular any camogs not currently involved in a club.

Down Junior Camogie Team Trials will take place on Sunday 22^nd January in Liatriom at 11am.
