MacLarnon Cup Quarter Final: St
Louis, Ballymena 0-7 St Patrick’s Downpatrick 1-11

The Red High eased through to the semi finals of the
MacLarnon Cup on Saturday as Down minor All-Ireland
star Paul McComiskey did enough damage for St.
Patrick's Downpatrick to kill off the challenge of
St. Louis Ballymena up on the Glen Rd.
Paul was the goal-scorer midway through the second
half as St. Patrick's secured their semi-final place
on a 1-11 to 0-7 scoreline.
They were only 0-4 to 0-3 up at the half-way stage,
but opened up with points from Cathal Crilly and the
McComiskey goal to kill off the Antrim side's
challenge.
The semi finals will take place on the 18th of
Febuary with Rathmore and La Salle also through.
St. Eunan's Letterkenny and St. Pius' X Magherafelt
have yet to play their game.
