DOWN V CLARE Sunday 9th July Ballyholland.

In the final game of this group Down play Clare.

Both teams have qualified for the knock-out stages but Sunday's game will determine which team finishes top. This will the 3rd meeting of the 2 teams this season. In the opening game of the League they played out a draw which meant they both then finished on equal points and Down then travelled to Clare for the play-offs where with an understrenght team they were beaten by 2 points with Clare then going onto win the League Title.

Both teams have been London convencinly and with the withdrawal of Westmeath have had a long wait for any further championship action. Down have a few injuries in the camp but with home advantage they hope to gain revenge for the league defeat.
