Summer Hurling Academy.
Over 120 children aged 6-12 attended the
Grafton Recruitment Warrenpoint Hurling
Summer camp on Saturday. The camp was
officially opened by Tip native and GAA
Hurling Development officer Paudie
Butler. The scheme runs for nearly 20
weeks over the summer and aims to
introduce the children of South Down to
Hurling and Camogie. All children in
South Down between the ages of 6 and 12
are invited to attend. The scheme takes
place every saturday from 11am -1pm at
Saint Marks School.

Down’s Star Forward Gareth Johnston and
Ulster and Ireland Goalkeeper Graham
Clarke.
