The
new football season has already started
for four clubs in the county who are
taking part in the Ulster Club League,
which commenced last week. Ballyholland
travelled to Monaghan senior champions,
Clontibret and their journey was in vain
as they were convincingly defeated by a
strong home side by 2-7 to 0-6.
Longstone travelled to Co. Monaghan also
and a meeting with Sean McCague’s
Scotstown side, and in a close
competitive game they went under by one
goal – 1-10 to 0-10.
Bryansford were due to play Roslea
Shamrocks but the Fermanagh side have
withdrawn from the competition as have
Dromintee.
On Sunday, Bryansford will have their
first outing when they travel to
Killyclogher, Co. Tyrone while Longstone,
Kilcoo and Ballyholland have Donaghmore,
