Down Camogie Board is currently looking for sponsorship for jerseys, equipment, transport, coaching etc. Maureen O’Higgins has taken over the County Board Chairperson job and it is her aim to raise the profile of camogie in a professional manner and to ensure that all County teams are well coached and looked after.  

Playing for the County not only develops players themselves but it also enhances the development of club team. Players get the opportunity to avail of good coaching and the chance to represent their County and play at a higher level.
