Down Minor Panel
A well prepared Down
minor team easily pushed past Derry to
secure an Ulster final place against
Antrim. Down were stronger in all areas
of the field and their victory was built
on seven unanswered points in the first
half following an early goal from
Malachy Magee.
A second-half goal from
Paul O’Neill put the outcome beyond
doubt. Five of Derry’s points came from
placed balls.
